It can be used with MediCam whether the camera is mounted or freestanding. When replacing MediGuard, the camera should be removed from the mount first, then reinstalled after the new sleeve is applied.

MediGuard helps protect the MediCam from repeated direct exposure to common clinical disinfectants and germicidal detergents, including products such as Sani-Cloth® AF3, Super Sani-Cloth®, PeridoxRTU®, CaviCide™, Oxivir® TB, Oxivir® hydrogen peroxide wipes, and other common hospital-grade cleaning agents.

MediGuard does not replace required cleaning procedures, facility SOPs, or USP <797> compliance practices. It provides supplemental protection for MediCam hardware in environments where frequent sanitization is routine.
